iPetCare: Care for Dogs & Cats App Reviews

Very easy to use and set up. Dont need time wheel to roll back when putting in past shots and meds.You roll wheel to when next shots are due the app figures the rest for you. This is so nice to have to keep up with all my girls information. One of my favorite apps!

The app doesnt work properly in most of the features. Example: photo shows part of it. Not a good app for pet owners. Even if it is Free I might try and delete it. sorry.

This app helps me keep track of my pets info, health, etc... I love it!

Ok, this is an absolute disappointment on the development side. Not user friendly and unstructured. I have never seen an application which had such a unfinished user interface… Im talking about menu and selection screens which are just not fully accessible or you just see half of the items you could select and cant get to them all. If youre looking for a good app to manage your pets records etc, dont chose this one - my search goes on. This was the biggest waste of $4!!!!

Im disappointed that it wont allow you to record information (e.g., vaccinations) on any date earlier than the current day.

Wonderful and very useful. I have 5 pets. This app makes it easy to have all your pet information at you fingertips.

This is a solid App! Two quick Opps for Improvement. First, allow you to enter vaccinations, visits, etc from the past to create a history for your pet. Second, when entering vaccinations and using the time interval feature, set up a reminder, or better yet sync into calendar for a reminder for the due date of that visit/vaccination, etc. These two features would make this App SO much better than anything out there!

I am frustrated with myself that I didnt read more reviews before I purchased the app. I would NEVER have purchased it if I would have seen the reviews about not being able to record past dates. Its really quite useless to me if I cant enter past records. I am so disappointed and totally wasted my money.

Solution, go to: - Setting - General - Date & Time - "turn off" Set Automatically - Click Set Date & Time (change a date of your first vaccines) - Input all old records - Once all old entries have been completed, simply "turn on" Set Automatically

Functions as described and it is useful to take time to review all the settings and options in order for the app to perform as desired. Id like to be able to add vaccinations and appointments without editing the entire record. Instead I prefer to edit only the area for update.

Very disappointed. The first thing I tried to do was enter my dogs birthdate. I purchased the app. on July 21 and my dogs b-day is August 13. The date wheel would not allow me to choose August - guess it thought it was in the future. After that very first glitch I tried no more. Cannot recommend until simple glitches such as this are fixed. I subsequently purchase another app. and am far more satisfied.

If you have low expectations, you will not be disappointed; however, if you have high expectations, you will be disappointed. Listen to the reviews. You cannot back date previous vaccinations. This seems like such a simple fix, but this India based App company is obviously not interested in consumer feedback. Also, it is not as simple entering vet visits and as one other reviewer pointed out, you have to edit each time. Please listen to other constructive criticism. Believe me, the Company is not interested in your feedback or making changes based on them. Their solution is to simply make a note entry. Oh, and good luck Getting your money ($5.02) back!!!!

Has great potential but still needs a way to program past treatments and not just on the Notes section...too many places one has to go to....My suggestions also seem to fall on deaf ears...Instead of thinking my idea might have merit I was just dismissed with " use the Notes sections" and have to put the treatment in an un-corresponding field!!! Not professional..

This app has great features and it would get 5 stars if it included a couple minor but useful features below. - ability to re-arrange the order of listed pets. (i.e oldest to new) - ability to record history for *past* vet visits. (Note: The current version still does not support this feature as of Oct. 8, 2012) **Bonus Feature** - ability to select different pets for the background theme.

This is the best app. Love the reminders and the interface is fluid and never crashes.

For the most part, this app works as it should but, as a previous reviewer mentioned, you cannot set the date for a past event (it refused to let me set the date for a vet visit that had occurred several days previously, only the current day or in the future, which doesnt make sense). I see that suggestions for improvement have been brushed off and that is too bad because it could be a good app. Is it worth $4.99 right now without the date bug fixed? Considering this is an app to keep records of events in your pets life...Id say no.

I was very hopeful that this would be the app that I was looking for. But it doesnt allow you to back date any information. I wanted to enter all the history for my pet and it would not allow it. If you forget to enter the data on the date it happens, forget it, it will not allow it. If they correct this issue I believe I would use it.

This would be an outstanding App if you could back date information. Otherwise is does it work.

I love this app. It is great for taking care of my little princess as we are moving countries soon... BUT... The one thing which needs to be fixed is the ability to put in dates prior to the current date. Example... Past vet visits cant be back dated.
